Default Where to stay - Greeneville?

Hubby and I are hoping to make it up in January to check out some properties in the Greeneville and surrounding areas. Can anyone recommend a place for a 4/5 day stay that is affordable for a family of four. Thanks!

Thumbs up Greene co lodging

N: I see eleven motels / inns listed in flyer maybe 5 other cabins / B& B. Should not be busy in Jan month. 36 motel & Super 8 out along I-81 most of the travel books have coupons for that month, also maybe need web access ?? "GreeneCountyPartnership.com " is a id for Tourism council ? One of our cousins lives in Sebring. Quiet golf and the car race track there ? Just east of G.V. is TUSCULUM , seem to be popular / growing side of town. Try not to tell everyone? Oh Rats this is public board. Two rivers / streams are great for Canoe trips.

Shhhh. I will try not to tell anyone, but than you for the tip! We will check it out. We will be looking at properties with 5 or more acres as we will be bringing our horses with us. MBMouse gave us a lot of good leads too, and we will be checking into those also. Thanks!

Oh, and nothing quiet about the racetrack! But if you like golf there is certinaly plenty of that around. Not for me though.
