Maybe this has been covered, but what is the best way to heat homes in Tennessee, and what is the preferred back up system in case of power loss? Propane?

yeah .. lines, tank, fill to 150 gals. (minimum yu can put in a 'new' tank ) and 3 heaters inside ..
would love a wood stove .. looks like there was one at one time . there's a 'patched' hole in the ceiling .. but then i'd have to worry about wood .. and being afraid of leaving it on while i'm out .. perusing lowes and walmart ..

$1500 for the entire set-up does not sound bad at all.
A wood stove in a mobile home does require different rules and codes to follow. They are safe if installed correctly to code, use well seasoned and dry wood......
