Yep ... many of the lakes are large enough for a 33' boat including Center Hill.

I think my next trip down we are going to explore the Watts Bar area. Yes, we plan to have it trucked down. Your info so far has been very helpful.

We had a trailerable pocket cruiser transported out from the west coast. I also towed out my 17' bowrider. We put the cruiser in a slip the first season but put it back on the trailer after. It much more affordable that way, easier to work on and stays much cleaner.

If I had to do it all over again I would have considered selling my cruiser on the west coast to get the higher sale price, saving the transportation costs, and finding a nicer cruiser already in Tennessee where the boat costs are much less. But then we bought our boat new so I know the boat well and know it's been well taken care of ... and it's paid for. I will say we end up using the 17' more because it's easier, more convenient and better suited for fishing. I keep it in the basement too which keeps it well preserved.

Most of the lakes that are part of the river system will support a boat that large.
