Very nice of you to say that jobi. If you were in Missouri for Thanksgiving, you'd have a seat at my dining room table and I'd make sure you got stuffed with turkey, stuffing (my favorite), cranberry sauce, mashed garlic potatoes swimming in butter, corn on the cob bbq'd on the grill with Lemon Pepper, fresh peppered steamed green beans with bacon bits, lemon meringue pie, pecan pie (really good!), and homemade Flan I made myself today. Of course there's a selection of California white and red wines (cabernet sauvignons being my personal preference), and sparkling wines, then fresh black dark-roasted coffee made from fresh whole coffee beans I grind up seconds before brewing the coffee.... You'd be so full you couldn't move and then we'd park you on a couch, give you a little sifter of cognac to help settle things, have you join great conversations and contribute whatever comes to your mind, and just enjoy the heck out of the best meal day in America's calendar !!! We have a lot to be thankful for, and spending the day with family, friends, and good people, even if we don't know them, is part of the blessing. Thanks again for your good wishes!

A happy Thanksgiving to all of you
From the state of Iowa, also.
If you're wondering how I got in here, well we bought a sweet little piece of real estate in FFG this year. It's just a matter of time before we're natives!
I'll bring some Syrah [Shiraz] (red) to that dinner and have you compare it to the Cabernet. You might just find you like it. Yellow Tail is the brand we prefer.
jobi, when we finally get our trip to the UK I'll post here. Maybe we can stop and say hello. I have yet to meet someone from the U.K. I didn't like.
Did that come out right?
