I mean MARYVILLE, TN
typo sorry. I know it is about 12 miles south of Knoxville...does it seem small, or is it a suburb like Farragut?

Maryville is a nice, growing town. Lots of people really like the school system and the fact they can get to Knoxville relatively easy for work. There are many web sites available if you google it.
Good luck!

I also wish to relocate to the Maryville area. Any advice for finding a job? I have commercial insurance experience, extensive customer service experience.

Have lived in Maryville for three years...
I love Maryville! I moved here following a divorce with my five children and found the town and the people warm and welcoming. We were able to find low-income housing within two months of arriving and my kids are thriving at Foothills Elementary School in the city district. You will want to make sure you live IN the city, NOT the county, for good schools though. Foothills is like a private school and 96% of the teachers there are Christians! Even if you are not a Christian, you can't deny that the children will receive good, kind teaching and morals as they go through their days. My daughters have phonetic disabilities that have been overcome through the Learning Lab systems they offered in these schools (we knew them as Special Ed).
Maryville is a very small town with not a lot for entertainment or fine eating, but Knoxville is only 20 minutes away and has all you need for fun. UT is also located in Knoxville and the Vols are big around here. I can also recommend a good daycare, several good churches and you will love the parks here. Housing starts anywhere from $119,000 for 3/2's to way up in the millions. There aren't many apartment complexes to choose from, but there are lots of rental homes with decent price tags ($700-1200 for 3/2's).
I hope you enjoy Maryville as much as I do.

Job Info...
I highly recommend Staffing Solutions temporary agency. They are the way in to many large companies in Maryville, including Denso (the largest).

Phillip Fulmur's (UT head coach) home is in Maryville. You go over the right hill you can see it past the vast amount of land and trees bordering the estate.
Beautiful area.
