Karen,
No we aren't staying at the inn. We plan on driving over/up(whichever direction it is) from Dandridge Saturday morning. Does anyone know how long about it takes from Knoxville to Pikeville?

Pam, looks like 2.5 hours, give or take (from google maps). I'm sure it'll vary depending on "where" in Dandridge, etc.

Thanks, that isn't bad at all. Plus we get the time zone change which helps too. I can't wait, I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning to get here!
Pam
Gem.... can Bones come out to play yet? Is he grounded in his room for a long time?

Oops, Bones!!
I don't believe in LONG time-outs, Bones. Just long enough to feel a little lonely and reflective. Are you feeling reflective and lonely? Come on out and put on your company manners, please.
Thanks for the links, bbkaren. This will make my DH soooo happy. We both love bluegrass, but he would drive a hundred miles for a 30 minute hoopla! Looks like we will all have to try to make it to the Hoedown another weekend. Are you interested, vacationbound? Bbkaren, we'll see you there!
We are staying at the Inn, bbkaren, but are not sure what time we will be dragging in. We would like to be there by 5 PM, but are trying to see some of the Plateau area that same day. I am hoping that we can squeeze in as much as possible.
Pam, I am so glad that you and Bill are going to be there, as well. Sorry that I keep poor Bones in his room for so long. Thanks for tapping me on the shoulder.
This will be quite a nice group that have pulled together for this get-together. Thanks for taking the bull by the horns, bbkaren.

At that rate Karen, he could still be grounded on the 19th!
Ha! Maybe the minute rule for a years age should be modified so Bones can come out and play.
