Grandma use to make fried chicken, dredged in egg and buttermilk and rolled in flour, salt and pepper fried in an iron skillet (with lard), Gravy and biscuits, green beens, fried corn, fried taters and sliced tomatos. Yum yum.

I just want to thank Tinman for that wonderful chicken recipe. I've done the buttermilk but never thought to brine it first. I can't wait to try it!
