Default abc permit card...???
Does anyone have information on these abc permit cards for bartenders?? I have seen in several job listings who are looking for bartenders to bring in resume and abc card. I bartend in NY and we do not have to have any kind of special card or licence, the bar owners do. I looked on the TN government home page but couldn't find any info and was hoping someone on here could help. Thanks in advance for any help/info you can give

You have to go to a five-hour class and pay a $60 fee for a ABC card. I'm not sure if the requirement is waived if you have so much experience elsewhere. That's about all I know about it.

Thanks alleycat. I found a bartending school in Nashville that offers it, and I am going to take the flair bartending class too
