I know there are bars in Paris and I know you can buy beer/wine at stores but i dont know if you can have a cocktail with dinner. i think you can do that in the county jusy west of Henry--Weakley county around the college town of Martin.

I know you can have beer at many of the restaurants in town. I'm not sure about mixed drinks. They did pass "liquor by the drink" a couple of years ago but that's only within 3 miles of the Tennessee River. You might want to check some restaurants near the river. You will not get any alcohol at Paris Landing State Park, however. Alcohol is not allowed anywhere in the park. But they do have the greatest restaurant for miles around.

Wish I had seen this post sooner. You can get beer/wine and mixed drinks with diner in Paris. Last time I was there, I had a vodka tonic with diner. There is one Greek restaurant that does not serve alcohol, but it is by their choice.
