I think it is a nice place to stay. Overrated is so subjective. I like staying at a Gaylord property when I go to work conferences etc. I don't choose to stay there when I am picking up the tab; but then again, I am pretty frugal. We do like going to Opryland Hotel and walking through it, especially at Christmas. I do think that their restaurants are overrated and overpriced. The plant lushness is so beautiful.

I am pretty frugal too whenit comes to certain things, but for me I feel like I want to stay there just once to experience it, then if I am ever in Nashville again, I would go cheaper.

Did you work on the hotel? I know I sound so touristy , but the thought of going to Nashville is exciting to me. And seeing the theaters would be so cool! Now if I can just get close o Trace Adkins !

At the time, I worked for the firm that did the structural engineering for the hotel. We also did the Bell (Batman) Building.

I'm not sure but it seems like Trace Adkins lives out in the Leiper's Fork area (I'd have to go look that up).

So you know the inside scoop that the building is structurally safe right? I am just kidding! I know it's fine, just being a wise girl
