Land opportunities
Me and my wife just moved to Knoxville and absolutely love the area. We are considering the purchase of a 5-15 acre plot of land, but not sure where. This is not to build a home on now, but rather a long term potential investment. Somewhere nice and reasonably close enough to a growing area that in 10 years it would make a great place to build or at least gain a lot of value if we decided to sell it.
We are looking at places along the I-40 corridor south of between Knoxville and Chattanooga (Sweetwater, Loudon, etc.) and also Cookeville. I am also open to suggestions as we still have a bit to learn about Tennessee. But we are looking at at least 6 months before doing anything. Any ideas would be appreciated.
