Default Greetings from South Florida

Well.........I was wondering of the weather pattern in Maryville. I WANT to say that I would like to see snow but I prefer staying in my house when that happens. I realize it gets hot there......which is very comforting.

Hey south Florida! We're from southwest Florida. I spent my last summer having converstions like this:

Native Tennessean: "Boy, is it hot today!"

Me: "It's not too bad."

NT: "Are you kidding? It's brutal today!"

Me: "It's not too bad."

Or they hear my northern accent and...

NT: "I bet you aren't use to these kind of summers!"

Me: "Actually, I'm from southwest Florida."

Native Tennesseans walks away confused.

In other words, Tennessee summers are a walk in the park compared to south Florida. We don't get much snow. Maybe a couple of inches a year, and that melts in a few hours.
