Thank you. That was it! Morgan County. That road ends at Frozen Head.

Hello. I must let you know your statement that Shelby County, TN has more horses than any other county in the U.S. is wrong. This statement is all over the Internet, but with no basis in fact. I'm a Tennessean who used to live in Shelby County, and heard that same rumor when I lived there. Shelby County includes Memphis, which is the 25th largest metropolitan area in the country, plus Germantown, the 10th largest city in the state. However, Shelby County has almost no horses to speak of. Sure, there are a few, and I'm guessing that rumor was started by one of those horse-owners. If you have ever been to Lexington, KY, where there are horse ranches all over that city, or in tiny Hancock County, TN, where almost everyone there owns a horse, simply because there is nothing else better to do and the land is plentiful and cheap, you would know that Shelby County does not have more horses per capita. I would love to know what data (not source, data) is being used for such a ridiculous statement. By the way, I loved living in Shelby County, and I have nothing against it, except for this quote.
