Watching the National News Tonight on the flooding.... Just wondering how every one is doing in Tennessee........

It rained a lot yesterday, but I didn't hear of any major problems in Tennessee. I'm sure there were some creeks that overflowed their banks . . . and probably the river near where I live (it's a shallow river and it doesn't take much for it to overflow . . . but then it recedes fairly quickly).

I think the flooding Tinman was referring to was over in Arkansas and Missouri.

The National News (ABC) was showing all the potential rivers from the Ohio River South and West too Arkansas and on their map it showed most of the rivers in Kentucky -Virgina - Tennessee -Carolina's-Alabama at or close to flood stage and time for Noah to stop by....... Arkansas-Missouri area is a mess towns that have no flooded in 100 years are now under water.... makes you wonder "who's in charge".....

Little moist here in North East TN but we have really needed it as we were in a drought conditions 4 months ago but we have not had any flooding here. So alls good from this front.

Relax, Tennessee, Lake Lanier is only 13 1/2 feet below normal at this point. It has gained 5 feet since Jan. with all of the rains and the fact that the Army Corps of Engineers has slowed down the outflow.
