Well, I managed to get down about 100 lbs worth the day before the hard rains hit. When I checked the weather it said rain, but did not stipulate a biblical flood. I can hear the blue fork rushing from my front door and my pond and springs are topped over. I suspect both the East fork and West fork of the Obey are well over their banks in many places.

Of course this is always an interesting peek

Interesting article about how the rain has helped, but not enough in the Knoxville area. It says there is some flooding in the Nashville region.

Tn, thanks for the link, very interesting and informative.
I see that the Obed at Lancing (I'll have to find out where that's at) the gage has gone from 2' to almost 10' and the discharge has gone from 400 to 10,000 cu, ft, per second !!! How is gage figured, height in feet ¿

Lancing is basically at the junction of hwy 62 and hwy 127, just north of Wartburg. It is an old train stop and I think that area was also a coal producing area back in the day. So I would say north east of you about 25-30 miles as the crow flies.
