Where is the job growth?
OK I can't go to sleep, so I did a bit of research using Tennessee Department of Labor statistics to see what counties in Tennessee are experiencing job growth over the last year (January 2007 - January 2008). Thanks. Those are healthy gains for Nashville--I wonder how many are "Good" jobs though??

Thanks everyone, I had fun looking up the stats.
I'm a stats junkie so it was a fun project. I think it's interesting to see where the job growth is taking place in Tennessee. No surprise that it's in Nashville, but I was surprised to see just how much. It looks like half of the job growth in Tennessee is in the Nashville area.
And poor ol' Chattanooga. I guess Chattanooga could've really used that big Toyota plant after all.
And Clarksville's negative job growth is more a reflection of the Kentucky portion of the metro area since Montgomery County TN is booming.
