Gatlinburg Rental Cabins? (vacation home, price, vacation)

I'm taking my wife to Gatlinburg in a couple of weeks and she would like to stay in a nice cabin on the the creek there.

Can anyone here make recommendations for a better than average cabin there that is convenient to downtown?

This could be difficult, as many places are booked way in advance. Wish I could be more helpful. There is a site Vacation homes for rent by owners, you may wish to google that and see if you find anything you might like. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Hi, I don't know how many people in your group but we used SUNSET cottage in Gatlinburg, we had a 2 brm cabin on the river, it's name was the "River House".My husband ,son my 4yr old grandaughter and I stayed there. The cabin to us was very large.There is a gazebo on the lawn near the river I think there is a bbq grill there, I know it had an electric plug there too.Of course a hot tub!It also is at the end of the road,very quiet!If hills and steep embankments are a concern, this is on level ground.I liked that fro my grandaughter, she could run outside and we didnt worry.I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Sorry this was soooo long Hoped I helped alittle. PS We thought price was decent too....
