Default Just got a job in Vonore

Any words of wisdom for a new college grad that just got an engineering job in Vonore and not sure where to live. Maryville? Knoxville? Where do you the young singles live down there?

They don't live in Vonore!

It's a beautiful area, but Vonore is a popular retirement place these days. You'll probably want to live in Maryville and commute. Knoxville would obviously have more young singles but is quite a bit farther away. Maryville is a great alternative. There's a small college in Maryville, too, so it's got a fair number of young singles.

Congrats on the job!

Congrats on graduating from college and the new job! Live in Maryville and plan on nightlife in Knoxville on the weekends. Vonore is not happening at all compared to college life; but that's ok. If we can help your transition just yell. Welcome to the forum!

On the plus side, a commute to Vonore from Maryville shouldn't be bad, wouldn't you all agree? cpn would be going away from all the traffic heading to Knoxville.

Exactly right! And it's an easy drive, too.
