Default 2007 Crimes In Tennessee Report Released

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation released its annual Crime In Tennessee Report today.

Results are alphabetized by police department (there is a page for each) in addition to overall state data.

http://www.wbir.com/pdf/crime_in_tennessee2007.pdf

Various drug task forces have pages by judicial district number but frankly I don't know what districts correspond to which places. There are also pages for each of the State Parks.

Wow! That's a lot of data. I think I'll just wait for the movie to come out.

I had already it.

Local news says that Knoxville's crime has gone up, but most of Tennessee has gone down.

What I find impressive is my local cops clearance rate. Very good.

Thanks, LauraC. I must say that I am so happy that our computers have a scroll down ability!

It was very interesting to look up the cities that DH and I are focusing on for our next (and final!) home. We are now happier than ever for our decision on the right place for us.

I was a little disappointed to see that most of the counties could not add crimes per 100,000. That makes it a great comparison tool in itself.

Thanks for being alert, LauraC, especially after your big day yesterday!
