We enjoy watching the diffrent shows that they have on TV about the haunted Hotels, or houses. We always thought it would be fun to do this.
We may even be brave enough to stay in one over night!
I have never heard of anything around here though..any suggestions?

With the Bell Witch, we've got one of the best "hauntings" in the US right here in Tennessee. It's a bit of a drive from Chattanooga but interesting.
The Bell Witch Web Site - Bell Witch, the Bell Witch, An American Haunting, Reese Witherspoon, Bell Witch Haunting, Reese Witherspoon, Bell Witch pictures, An American Haunting, Bell Witch books, information about the Bell Witch. Your complete source
Lots of other haunted places in Tennessee here.

The haunted house in Franklin would be a good weekend trip.
Historic Carnton Plantation - Franklin, TN (http://www.carnton.org/ghost.htm - broken link)
Franklin is a pretty town south of Nashville.

Look into author Jesse Glass' recent work, historical research for which uncovers a major hoax regarding TN's Bell Witch.

The read house in downtown chattanooga is haunted, in room 311 a civil war soldier brought a prostitute to the read house and brutally murdered her, but i think there are more stories to that one. I went on a ghost tour downtown and they take you to like 6 or 7 haunted places in downtown my favorite was the one about mary b. green on the delta queen just google her theres some really cool stuff.
the site for the ghost tour is www.chattanoogaghosttours.com
