Default diversity in murfreesboro, tn

my wife and i, and our upcoming child, are considering relocating to the murfreesboro area. i am white and my wife is black. we are both college educated and your basic family oriented low-key young family.

any thoughts on how well we might be received in murfreesboro? would our child have any issues growing up in this community (that is to say, other than the same guff all kids put up with in any community)?

any info is much appreciated...

Hi mshred,

Murfreesboro is very diverse. That's where I live and I see mixed couples all the time here. It shouldn't be a worry for you at all.

I agree with Kim. I think especially due to MTSU, M'boro is very much diverse.
