I know, but I'll let someone else take this one. I don't know how she ever got a record deal. I don't think she'd make it through the first round of American Idol.

Hartsville/Trousdale County consolidated their governments into a "metropolitan" form in 2001.
A couple of other relatively famous people born in Tennessee:
Usher(singer/performer)-Chattanooga
J.J. Redick(shooting guard,Duke Blue Devils/Orlando Magic)-Cookeville

I thought that was the case, but I didn't see it when I looked up metropolitan governments in Tennessee. Thanks for setting me straight!
