Trying to compile as much research into our next move as possible. Can anyone tell me if these counties are wet/dry/moist. This info is hard to find for some reason.

It is hard to locate. I think someone had tried to compile some info on a thread some time back. If you do a search for "dry county" or related keywords, it might be helpful.
And, if all else fails, it seems like it wouldn't be too much of a chore to call the county governments to get a full description first-hand. I've heard a lot of variations on the wet/dry/moist theme in various areas. Good luck! |

Here is one thread on dry counties in TN, although it isn't a list of the counties, more of an explanation of what is allowed and what isn't.
Dry counties....what exactly are the rules? And, here is an interesting bit of trivia about the Jack Daniels distillery:Tennessee

Clear this up for me. Is a county considered "dry" if it allows beer sales, but not liquor?

Not to me. Also, cities can regulate beer, too.

We were in cumberland county and I was told it's a dry county. But they had beer at grocery stores and wal mart. I believe beer and wine aren't considered "alcohol" in some areas lol...

Wine and hard liquor are regulated by the state. They can only be sold in package form by liquor stores

My goodness, thank you so much. I don't know how you found that info. I guess I stink at googling stuff. I'm always amazed at what others can do with the internet. Thanks again.
