Default Relocating to Tennessee?

Hi, I am new to this board, I found it while researching Tennessee. I would like for anyone to give their input and thoughts on Tennessee. Me and my husband are thinking of relocating to Tennessee, with our 4 young children, ages 6 1/2 and younger. My husband lived here until he was 14 or so, around areas by Memphis, like Millington, Brighton, etc...., we are not sure that is where we want to go. We are moving from Kansas, where I have been born and raised in the same town, of about 16-20,000, it is a small town, with lots of banks and churches, a Wal-mart, and not much else. We don't really want to move somewhere smaller than here, but we do want to find a place that is a great place to raise our children, has LOTS to do, scenic, fun, and safe. I say lots because there is nothing and I mean nothing to do here where we live now. Any advice and suggestions will be extremely helpful, and your knowledge on the different towns will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you so much!!!! Also, looking for affordable rent, low crime, great schools, great job opportunities, not too far from a big or one of the major cities, was thinking of going around Nashville.
