Just voted and we are still winning...ofcourse! My friends and family keep asking if I'm ready to move back "home" as in to NY and I cheerfully respond with a HECK NO! I'm loving it here.

I cast my vote a long time ago - in my head and heart! But, I just officially did it on the polls and TN is ahead by a long shot at 35 TN lovers.

Ain't it swell? And, I have to agree that having TN represented by the folks here on the TN forum makes it a slam dunk!

Though I agree, you guys can't be rigging the polls like that! Al Gore didn't even see this kind of love from his homestate.

I don't know that I would call it rigging, only that a notice of the poll was posted here. Frankly, I didn't even vote because I don't think these polls mean anything and because (don't tell anyone I said this) I think the whole "friendliness thing" is somewhat overrated.

No rigging here. Pride in our state on this site, yessiree! AC is right; the poll means nothing in the big scheme of things. All in good fun, my friends, all in good fun.

Now, if there was a poll about best barbecue . . . that would mean something!

Scoring Update!:

Tennessee - 47

South Carolina - 22
Texas - 17

Keep up the good work Tennessee, we are the friendliest and we have we know how to vote. Yeah baby!

And, since I can't really sing for your vote, I will ask Smokey and The Cumberland Trio to serenade us with their rendition of "Rocky Top"!
