Keep up the good work Tennessee, we are the friendliest and we have we know how to vote. Yeah baby!

And, since I can't really sing for your vote, I will ask Smokey and The Cumberland Trio to serenade us with their rendition of "Rocky Top"!

YouTube - The Cumberland Trio- Rocky Top

OH. MY. GOSH. That has got to be one of the best renditions of Rocky Top I have ever heard. It sure makes me proud to be a Tennessean. I can't wait for football season!!!!!

(And for the record, I used to be a die-hard Florida Gator--I was born in Gainesville. But now my blood bleeds Tennessee orange!!!)

Pres, I repped you and in my comment was that the people that count are that friendly.
I am off to go rep Pam&Bill now, and I think JoshB.

ETA: I have to spread it around before I give it to Pam again, darnit.
Why thank you SMG, I think I may be blushing: And right back at you on the rep.

JMT - Glad you liked this rendition of Rocky Top; I loved it!

Pres -

I am off to Jury Duty to see who hasn't been very nice in our fair county.

I am from PA and I consider PA to be a fairly friendly state. I have lived in, NC, and SC and one of the main reasons I moved from NC and SC was the people. I can't count the times I was referred to as a yankee and told that if I wanted to express my opinion I should go back north. The only time the locals there were friendly was when I was spending money.
I now live in TN and what a difference. I have yet to hear the term yankee. Almost everyone here in TN is friendly. When I go to the grocery store people say good day, nod their hats, and even hold doors. Neighbors are friendly, always wave and share a smile.
Tennessee is the friendliest state.

GO GATORS! However I voted for Tennessee as I do love Tennesseans even though too many of them are Vols fans, however the insurgency of a large number of Gators in the Tri-Cities area is working hard to bring about the rise of The State of Franklin Gators.

My wife and I are both members of The Blue Ridge Gator Club in Asheville, NC and just recently went to a club picnic. There are enough Gators in the area now to organize The State of Franklin Gator Club. We need a Bull Gator to step forward and make it happen.

Can't you be the Bull Gator and represent?

What are you doing? It's bad enough we've got a Gator fan in our midst without you trying to talk him into being the Head Gator of Tennessee!

Actually, I love Gators. You can make wonderful belts and shoes out of them.

;-)
