Some info on Lenoir City
I work for a company in Wisconsin and I seen they have a location in Lenoir City. Is LC in a mountainous area like the tri cities? Is it a more clean town or is it more poverty stricken? Is there alot of growth? Schools? Taxes?
If anyone has any info they can share or pictures that would be great.
Thanks, Josh

I posted a few pics in the tennessee pictures sticky.. From what I could tell the town looked pretty nice and clean, I did see some not so nice areas off a couple back roads but every town/city has some poverty ya know! I really liked it and that is where we're planning on moving next month. It's very close to the mountains and has a river and dam there too, gorgeous views. I don't know much about the schools except that they need some work but they're not too bad. Good luck!

As I'm sure you've already noticed when you looked on a map to see where it's located, Lenoir City is right on a big lake. It's a beautiful setting. No, it's not right in the mountains, but it's very hilly there nonetheless, and it's not far from the mountains.
As Knoxville continues to spread west, Lenoir City is beginning to become somewhat of a bedroom community to those working in booming West Knox. It has a quaint little downtown area and a couple of small shopping centers, but I'm sure that will change as Knoxville's sprawl eventually reaches Lenoir City.

Last year, we took a map and drove through all of East TN and marked off the cities that were not mountainous. LC was one of them. It was hilly but we couldn't see the mountains. It's a nice town though.

Thank you HengyMama,
Can anyone tell me, is LC located within a topographic region like the Cumberland Plateau?
