Another crappy bowl game again for Tennessee.Antwan Stewart couldn't keep up with his guy and Tony Hunt made or defense look as poor as always against the run.Still happy with a 9-4 record,hell of a lot better than the 5-6 last year.Chavis's defense just isn't the same anymore.

The University of Tennessee's teams are called the "Volunteers" Including there football team and that is shortened to "The Vols". They are referring to the Football team for UT.

Tennessee's nickname is the Volunteer State, because the people of the state readily volunteered to help with things like the Alamo battle, etc.

The UT women's basketball team is called the "Lady Vols". This something you need to know if you are going to move here. :-)

If you live anywhere near Knoxville, you will see thousands of people wearing orange on Fridays to honor the beloved Vols. School spirit reigns.
