Good place to live (Knoxville, Lenoir City: employment, middle school, relocating to)

My family and I are relocating to TN in May. My husband's employer, Tate and Lyle, has relocated him to the plant in Loudon. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what towns we might look into? We have two children who will be attending school -- one middle school, the other high school. I, myself, will be a new RN graduate and will be seeking employment as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I liked the Loudon and Lenoir City area. It seems pretty and family orientated. Lots of playgrounds and parks. I was really surprised the schools were rated very low.

Being a RN, I would THINK that you will find employment. LOTS of hospitals in Knoxville. Employment can be tough to find in this area. Still, you have got to have a better shot than most?

I am not sure if they manage any hospitals in that area but Mountain State Health Alliance (you can look them up on the web) is right now advertising on TV for nurses and offering a 10k sign on bonus and entering new hires in a sweepstakes for a new jeep too.
