Hi,

I would like to know if there are any areas with running streams or rivers, etc. that one could buy a house or land on in either the nashville outskirts or Chattanooga outskirts or knoxville outskirts. We were in Gatlinburg last week and saw some beautiful running rivers with beautiful rocks and would love to have something like that behind our new home. Our price range is 200,000 to 300,000 so I don't know if that is possible. WE need a 4 bedroom 2 bath home with at least 2200+ square feet. Also, does anyone know of any large flooring distributors in those areas? Thanks.

Thumbs up Flooring North Ga ?

F.S. If your flooring question is about Carpet, then north Ga along I-75 exp
Calhoon Ga is capitol. Gatlinburg does have some steep mtns. Right around Greeneville there are some beautiful slow canoe rivers. Niciholay(?) and Clinch river, Know many farms always up for auction there. The whole Rt #27 or 411 closer to the base of mtn range should be your target. Not sure of the land supply , but as the Hiawasee goes into the Tenn river, rt #30 or rt #60 East of Dayton has been seeing some interest. In Possum creek there is 142 acre
tract,so yes plenty of stuff around for a few more months. Newspaper is full of re-sales that match your range of $100/ Sq Ft , unless one desires DEEP Water channel on Tenn river.
Enjoy your search.
