Yet another Floridian wanting to move! (Franklin, Spring Hill: sales, insurance, vacation home)

Wow...I did not realize so many of us wanted to leave Florida. My family and I are interested in purchasing a Bed & Breakfast. I've been through TN many times and have found the state to be very beautiful. Currently am looking at property in Winchester but if anyone has any thoughts (e.g., better places with more things to do) I'd appreciate y'alls help! Any information on Winchester and surrounding areas would be greatly appreciated.

I work for a large healthcare system in South Florida and recently bought in Phase II at Hawks Bluff. Since then I referred about 8 co-workers who also bought lots. We plan to start building the foundation for log home this December. For now it will be a vacation home but who knows what the future will bring. I researched the Tennessee public records and most of the buyers are from South Florida. Good Luck future neighbor !!

I just hope all of us that want out of South Florida get a chance to get in before they ban us. Just gotta sell this estate of ours. (just kidding) but all of you Floridians trying to get out know what I mean. Sales are in the cellar and the insurance is sky high. Itching to head north soon.

We are right behind. We are looking Spring Hill/Franklin Area! We've been in Florida for 12 years and we are done. I am trying to relocate with my job.
I hope we don't have too much trouble selling.
I find it interesting that so many are going north.....

Gang: Maybe gone in 10 days. Selling quite tough over 2006, Brevard co has 8,000 properties listed. Need to lower prices over 2006 peak demand. My Chatanooga home insurance quote is only 25 % of our 2007 quote for Melbourne.
