Default young couple moving to tennessee

i am currently living in st. clair michigan and my girlfriend and i both want to move to tennessee. i went to TN on vacation and i looked in the knoxville area and roane county and i think i like it there. i really don't know much about the area and my main concern is finding a job. i'm 20 years old and i only have a high school diploma. i just want to be able to take my girl with me, find a small apartment and a job to pay the bills. 40+ hours of anything. im worried i will spend all my money getting there and find out i can't make it. what are the chances i can find a decent job as soon as i get there to get me on my feet? any comments, pointers or opinions would be great to give me ideas. i have lots of questions but i guess this is as good a start as any.

Try Knox new sentiel look for a job first before you move . It is getting slower down here in some things so be carefull what you get into. From one michigander to another .

You'd be better off trying Nashville but good luck in Knoxville

All I can suggest is try finding a job before you make the move - send out your CV/Resume and see what kind of repsonse you get. Check with local papers in area to see what jobs are available.

Can't speak specifically for Knoxville or Nashville
Best of luck and follow your dreams!
