Some Friendly Advice...... (Pigeon Forge: rentals, home, price)

When visiting Pigeon Forge DO NOT stay at the Lazy Day Lodge listed with Kimble Cabin Rentals!!! Our family decided to stay with this rental place instead of our usual place and it's something we won't be doing again. The "cabin" which was more like an older home fixed like a cabin was very deceiving. There was only 1 shower on the main floor, we all had to rotate getting up early enough to take turns using the bathtub which wasn't pleasant. The other was up stairs, but was told not to use it because it was leaking- and trust me it was leaking. there was pots sitting downstairs to catch all the water and there was a bubble on the ceiling where it was about to bust through. We later found out after calling the office religiously that it wasn't the shower after all, it was the toilet. It took them 2 1/2 days to come and look at it. It just wasn't what the description said it was and the staff didn't seem too concerned to make sure that it was taken care of as soon as possible. If I was the owner of the place I would make sure things were running properly and make sure I listed with another company- That will cause the owner to lose business. We decided to stay there because we had 4 families going and thought the price seemed very reasonable- I guess you get what you pay for! Some things really are too good to be true!
