As you all know I will be writing the next Chapter on Monday. Mike and I are nervously waiting for our furniture this morning. Hopefully the truck can make it up our driveway. Otherwise I'm sure the story on Monday will be even more interesting  .
Wish us luck today. We are too tired to be moving heavy furniture by ourselves.

Congrats on the furniture delivery without having to haul it up on one of the cows back! ( But the pictures of THAT would have been great to see hahahahahahha)

I just spent the past 1 1/2 hours reading this entire thread. Congratulations to both of you on rekindling the American spirit as modern-day pioneers!

mbmouse- You don't know how ecstatic we where yesterday when they got the furniture to the top. Asking for the cows to help would have made some great pics. Unfortunately, the cows would have just watched Mike and I and thought "what are those 2 crazy fools doing now".
kygman- Does Oprah have an e-mail for her show ?

Mike and Lisa - Still following your blog from Huntington, New York. I have several comments:
1. I definitely think you would both be great on the Oprah show - you need to have the Studio visit you now to record your progress before you are all done.
2. Since your blog gets so many hits, I think you should talk to advertisers so that you can bring in some income-only a New Yorker would think about that.
3. After you take the Winter off and are re-energized, can you locate property nearby and build me a house? |
