Rocky Top and UT verses Gators chat
I hate the song "Rocky Top". If I hear it coming on, there will be a quick channel change.

Anybody that knows me knows that I was a season ticket holding die-hard UF Gator up to this coming season. While I am giving up my season tickets, I will always be a scaly reptilian that bleeds orange & blue and hates the song "Rocky Top". GO GATORS!

But Rocky Top is an amazing song. When it slips into the F chords it gives me chills, if you have a really good singer. That's the key. (Absolutely no wordplay intended. <g>)

We love the song too, the kids know every word by heart. If we have to travel anywhere out of state, on the way back in, while going over the state line, you will hear us a comin because we have it basted and sing our hearts out....to bad none of us can sing well LOL! But we do love TN and Rocky Top IS the anthem around here hahahahaha.

There's no such thing as an F chord for that song, maybe a T chord.
Once when I was on old Rocky Top watching old Tennessee play
They were just a gettin' their butts kicked by them Gators all day
Tim Tebow had thrown another pass for another touchdown
The final score was 59 to 20, The Gators were the toast of the town
