Post Crossville News, Cumberland animals to be euthanized Monday.

A tug of war between Cumberland County and the Humane Society has left dozens of animals stuck in the middle. If no one adopts them by Monday, they'll be euthanized.

"It might not sound good that we're going to put down a bunch of animals, but if people don't come and adopt them and the county pay us to take care of them, we can't do it," said Ron Getz, vice president of the Cumberland County Humane Society.

I heard they all were adopted. I hope that's true.

That is what they reported on the news. If you go to Craigslist you will see all of the PET ads. Tons of people adopted them to foster (and avoid the euthanasia) and are now trying to find the animals permanent homes.

That is such good news! I wish I had the space to adopt a whole bunch of cats and dogs.

Last week near Nashville authorities busted a puppy mill with 700 puppies in an atrocious sweat barn.

I hope more people will head to the animal shelter next time they want a new pet rather than pay hundreds of dollars for boutique animals. I wish I had a lot of land so I could adopt a bunch of cats and dogs myself.

"they" should allow public beatings for those people.
Im down to 4 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats.LOL. It breaks my heart to see all the homeless stray animals, but I know I dont have the time for more right now so I have to look away.

This morning I was ready to beat 3 of my 4 dogs. Some days it a good dog day some days not.LOL.

I can't believe how some people treat animals, TN is terrible for animal abuse.
I just got this little guy about four manths ago, his hair was matted in knots and nearly starved to death. People that treat animals like that should be beat with a bull whip. I spent nearly $400.00 in vet bills on him, he's my little buddy now and we go every where together..lol.. he is 7 months old now.
