Default Tennessee Homeowner Insurance

So everbody in Florida is moving to TN because of high homeowner.s insurance.!!

Well I was surprised just today!. Just received my renewal for my place in TN, it is more than my Florida home and it is only 1/3 the the amount of coverage. Called my agent and told him to start looking for cheaper insurance . Where is all these other people getting the cheap insurance?

I'm in middle TN and had to drop my last insurance because it went up from under $800 the previous year to $2100 that year. It was a year we had a lot of tornadoes, even though I didn't have any claims myself. My current insurance goes up about $100 a year. I have a feeling it's going to go way up this year, because of the tornadoes we had earlier in the year. I hope to be moved out of TN before my renewal date.

We have homeowners insurance in Hendersonville and pay only $600 a year...

Call Farm Bureau, They saved me a TON...

I went from $2500 a year with State Farm to $600 a year with Farm Bureau. seriously, I won't post links to their site or their phone number but just go to google and type in Tennessee Farm Bureau and give them a call.

I have Farm Bureau for my car, but they said they couldn't do better than my current homeowner's company. I like Farm Bureau. I've had a couple of claims and my insurance hardly went up. This year it actually went down a couple of bucks, which was a nice surprise.

You and me both my friend...

No lie, switching from State Farm to Farm Bureau saved me TONS of money...

My full-coverage auto insurance went from $320/month to $110 and my homeowners insurance went from $2500 to $600 a year.

I always figured $320 a month was too high for Hendersonville on a Ranger truck. I've never had a ticket or wreck either...

FB also gives a discount if you own a truck

Farm Bureau said it was because it's a mobile home. It's a doublewide on a permanent foundation on land, not in a park, with a regular FHA mortgage. Because of all that, Farmer's and my current insurance company considered it the same as a "stick" home, but Farm Bureau said they insure it as a mobile home regardless, and that it would cost me more than I'm paying now, even though I have my car insured with them. I'm in an area that has had several tornadoes, so that could have a lot to do with the rate.

My car insurance with Farm Bureau is $600 a year, which is not bad. It's just a regular car though, not a truck. I've never received any dividends from them. I guess they would have to insure both your house and car to get dividends?
