You might think you have crazy drivers but you really don't know unless you have been all over. I spent 2 years in Mcallen, TX and this is what happened. At the time I was 36 years old...had lived and travelled the entire United States...never been in a wreck...not even close. In two years in Mcallen, Texas I got in two wrecks...was nearly in 3 more. At the stop lights on Major roads...people would talk...when the light turned green..they would still talk..not move..the light would then turn red...still talking...and so on...I am not kidding...just blabbing their mouths, breaking the law and being disrespectful. People driving on the sidewalkes to cut other people off...that is what I went through for two years. So. Who really know who is the safest...all I know is that Mcallen, Texas sucked when it came to drivers.

I'm still acclimating to how slow everyone drives up here, but I think I'm liking it more and more except when you get behind a tractor. However, it's a small price to pay to live in such a beautiful area and it does give you time to enjoy the scenery.

It's not like the tractor has any choice either. It has to get there, and unfortunately it's not built for speed...lol
