Relocating to Tennessee from Michigan
Hello everyone. I am a single mother looking to move to Tennessee sometime this summer. I am looking for a smaller town (under 10,000 people) with decent schools (I have two boys in elementary school), and some place safe enough to not have to worry about locking doors & windows at night. Low crime area is a must! And since I've lived in Michigan my whole life, I'm not interested in seeing any snow so living up in the mountains wouldn't intrests me. LOL Looking at them from a distance is what I want. I am currently employed with the local school district so I'm hoping to find work there doing the same kind of work. I am on a section 8 housing assistance program and from what I've been told, I can transfer it to TN. so I would like to find a privately owned two bedroom home for rent in a fairly rural area. I'm not a big city girl and prefer the small town atmosphere, that would allow a small pet. (I have a 15 year old cat that never leaves the house and does nothing but sleep). If there is anyone with some information that would help me I would greatly appreciate it!
