42, which I thought was kind of low. I live .56 miles from a major shopping center that has nearly everything and I'm less than one mile from schools, library and city park.

Mine was 25. Guess that's probably true, but I walk to Kroger, Little Caesar's, Marco's Pizza, UPS store, and liquor store in about 10 minutes, and to ETSU (depending on where I'm going on campus) in 10-20. Sidewalks all the way. The only driving I have to do is work, which is a five minute trip in the car.

My parents' house in Columbia, where I used to live, has a big fat zero!
Where I live now in Chicago has a score of 89. I like it that way. ![]() |

29/100
Which is kind of bad because this is fairly dense area with lots of kids. |

Geez. Guess I should have bothered to see what they meant by walk score first, eh? I got all upset when I scored zero. Then I realized they meant how feasible is it for you to walk to stores, work, etc. Of course I'm a zero! And I'd have it no other way.
Funny - I saw the thread and thought 'we're a 100 easily'. Gorgeous views, up and down the hills, almost no traffic ever. The perfect place to walk. Um, for exercise I guess, but other than that............ LOL!! |

![]() We scored an 8, and yes, we have 4 liquor stores within 3 miles of our house, er..., just for a point of reference that is!! ![]() I can ride my bike to grocery the movies, shopping, etc all about 3 - 4 miles away, no big deal, but it is whatever my backpack will hold. And good exercise. |

No neighborhood. I walk to my back yard pool. Walk about 10 minutes down a path from my back yard to a 880 acre lake to fish. Or i could walk across the little country road i live on to my cousins pasture and hop on a horse. It would be a 5 mile walk to Walmart or a 7 mile walk to town. i am a blessed man!
