Are there more people out walking when the sun is out? Looks depressing with no one out.

...It's called Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg,

....Healthcare is in abundance here also. We have specialist in just about every field that you can think of, from Cardiology/ Cardiothorasic Surgery to Endocrenology, Neurology/Neurosurgery to Nephrology, Oncology to Orthopedic, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery to Psychiatry and everything in between. We have several clinics so folks don't have to go to the ER if their MD's are closed. We also have a rehab center connected to our hospitial for accident, stroke victim and the like. We have 3 nursing home in Cookeville and lots of home health agencies and home equipment places.
Kitty cat, I lived in Gatlinburg for about 7 months a few years ago, despite the bad rap everyone gives it, I adored it. One of the things I loved was the nature. We are now moving to Cookeville (from Ca) and I don't want to lose the nature so would you mind telling me whereabout you live that you get foxes and deer?

I have cancer and a failed kidney and am on hospice care here. You seem to know a lot about the medical aspect of the area, would you happen to know of a good hospice there? Would you also know if they pay a family member/friend for caregiving services in Cookeville? They do here, I am wondering what we will and will not have there. Thanks for your post.

Why is it that I seem to post the last post in a thread and my questions go unseen? Lol! Hoping to move this back to the top of the list just long enough for someone to see and hopefully answer.

I honestly don't know the answer to your question, and I wish I did. Maybe you could contact the hospital in Cookeville, and they can help you with more information?

Good luck and God bless.

Here's a link to the cancer center at the hospital in Cookeville:

If your name is HiddenHollow, shouldn't you have some pics of Hidden Hollow Park? I know a bunch of us would love to see them.

I go to Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, I have lived here for 3 years now and I really love it. It is a nice size city, not too big but not too small either, lots of great shops and places to eat. The art scene in Cookeville is amazing, there are lots of really amazing artists, students, and galleries here, and there is the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville that is part of Tech University. It is also one of the cheapest places to live especially if you are looking to rent a home townhouse or apartment.

p.s. Hidden Hollow is probably the creepiest place I have ever been...sorry, it just has a weird vibe...:S

Default Moving to TN

Could anyone tell me how big of a town is Silver Point, Tennessee? Are there any pics available? We live in Florida and found the house of our dreams in this town. However, I am unable to find much info on this town. Does this area get any snow? It is ok if it does. After living in FL for 25 years that would be a terrific change. I am originally from NY and yearn for the four seasons again and a white Christmas (that doesn't mean white sand)lol. I also have a dilemma, is anyone familiar with getting a letter of intent to hire from the place of employ you plan on working at for an FHA loan? We are stuck between a rock and a hard place. There is a position available at a facility I could transfer to, however, without a place to live I can't accept the position. To top it off I had to have unexpected surgery 3 wks ago and am just returning from medical leave. This has been a life long dream to live in TN. The opportunity is there but don't know what path to take. Does anyone have experience in this type of thing? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Any pics of Silver Point would be great also. Thanks and GOD bless.
