There are two Dillard's in Knoxville and one in Chattanooga. Macy's has stores in Nashville. Otherwise, I think the next best thing would be Belk, which has stores in Athens, Chattanooga (2), Cleveland, Cookeville, Greeneville, Johnson City, Kingsport, Knoxville (3), Maryville, Morristown, Oak Ridge, and Sevierville.

There is also a Parisian (owned by Saks Fifth Avenue) at West Town Mall.

Parisian is owned now by Belk.

There's also a Parisian in Chattanooga.

Talking Department Stores

I have never heard of Belk and Parisian. Are they department stores or are they like Target? In what city is the West Town Mall?

West Town is in Knoxville.

Belk and Parisian are very nice department stores, nothing like Target or Wal-Mart. Both have corporate web sites that you can check out.

When Parisian was in Florida, it was on the top of my list. After all stores in this area closed, Belk moved in. I have not purchased anything at Belk because they now carry lower quality items. I have had great luck with Macy's.

That is very interesting. Belk purchased the entire Parisian chain in October.

In today's paper: Belk is converting all Parisian stores to the Belk label. So West Town Mall in Knoxville and Hamilton Place Mall in Chattanooga will have two Belk department stores in each mall. I think that's kind of sad.
