What do we think about what? Are you moving because of your job? Cheaper cost of living? Family situation? Better schools? Why are you thinking of moving?

I think Gallatin is a nice town, it's certainly closer to Nashville. Gallatin High School has an awesome tradition of football. It's also got a lot more cookie-cutter housing developments than Cookeville, if that's your cup of tea.

Are you moving because of your job or just to move? I've been here most of my life and Gallatin isn't somewhere I'd choose if I was looking for a new start. Although I know several people that have moved here from other states and are completely happy. Do you have school age children? If so, please check the statistics of the schools here. Like the other person said, Gallatin High School is noted for its "football team" NOT education or the ability of staff communicating well with students.
