Question Franklin, Tn info and such

How long is the drive from the cool springs area in Franklin to Vanderbilt hospital? Is cool springs a safe area in franklin? Also, does anyone know what Vanderbilt hospital is like? Its reputation, any personal experiences? What about their cancer center? Just out of curiosity, how long would it take to get from franklin to memphis, and franklin to smokey mountains? I know, so many questions! Answers to any of them would be great! I am so glad I found this forum, it has helped me a lot in my decision process! Thanks!

I could mapquest all this for you, but it'd be easier for you to put in the addresses of use to you.

Vanderbilt has an excellent reputation. As for personal experiences, I took my father-in-law there once when he was visiting. He had a heart condition and they kept him overnight and really eased his symptoms. Excellent care in the ER too. The drive time from CS to Vandy depends on the time, but I usually make it from one exit further down from CS to Music Row (a couple blocks from Vanderbilt) in 20 minutes.

Cool Springs is VERY safe. Homes are not inexpensive there, but definitely safe.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Akm! I will mapquest it, its just me being lazy and well sometimes mapquest isn't always accurate (unfortunately I learned this from experience). I plan on looking at apts in the cool springs area. Or I was thinking of renting a house until I knew for sure which area I wanted to be in. I plan on going there and scoping things out first.
