Default Emt-iv

Im from PA i am an EMT-B and a paramedic student. I was wondering what an EMT-IV is exactly? and where do you get the training for that, down there?

It's IV not the Roman Numeral IV for 4. Intravenous Therapy

It means that the EMT has the certification to start IV's.

Funny you posted a link to the TTU ems program, cause rumor has it that this will be the last fiscal year that the program will exist. Will be axed due to budget cuts.
Hope they find a way to keep it though. Tech has put out many talented EMT's and Paramedics over the years.
