Run the ball! Tennessee averaged 5+ yards a carry yet threw way too many times. The game shouldn't have been close.

Default Same comment, different game.

It was definitely a team loss, but the team has no leader. Even the commentators are now saying that Crompton can't cut it in the SEC. Fulmer has known that for two years. And he admitted that there is no back-up. Either we start giving Nick Stephens some field time or end up at the bottom of the SEC. Even with Stephens, a bad season is the general consensus. The largest recruiting budget in the country-- and we get Crompton and Cunningham? (I know Colquitt will be back, but surely $3 million buys some depth.)

Vol fans are loyal-- passionately so. I've never seen them leave so early en masse. I've never heard them boo their own team so fervently. And I've never felt so much disgust directed toward a QB, a kicker and a coach. I'm betting on change next year at Tennessee. Dollars will demand it.

"Ours?" Isn't this the Tennessee forum? Our QB, much as we might wish otherwise, is Jonathan Crompton.

The Vols and the Officials couldn't beat the Gators on Saturday......and the smaller group gave it quite an effort.

No, the Vols were clearly outplayed, and Vol fans expected it going into the game. Florida has more talent, they're better strategists and they outplayed Tennessee from start to finish. It was a telling match between the best and worst QBs in the SEC. I was just thinking how the Florida team has been pretty classy about it... then I read your post.

Congratulations on your victory. And do keep your day job.

You may be able to read but comprehending is something else.

The officials in the game made at least 10 incorrect calls, even the CBS announcers were commenting on it.
