I guess you didn't look at a map, eh? Sevierville is nowhere near Nashville, but it is about 30 minutes from Knoxville.

Sevierville is a small town but is in the middle of a gigantic tourist area. So it doesn't really appear to be a small town, it's got the traffic, shopping, condos, hotels of a much larger city.

It's beautiful, though, right in the Smoky Mountains. But if you're looking for a place to "get away from it all" you won't find it in Sevierville.

It also has tourist prices. Bear that in mind.

Sevierville is in Sevier County which is also home to Pigeon Forge which is the home to Dolloywood and Splash Country, a dozen or so dinner theaters and more shopping outlets than you could think of. Just south of all of that is Gatlinburg a tourist/vacation destination since the 20's and growing.
Only a few days out of the year when you can get 5 miles in less than 20 minutes in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
Busy, fun, lots to do, plenty of jobs..Yes.
Quiet, cheap.....no.
