Default Tennessee Music Concert News

The CMA Music Festival in Nashville this year will include Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland and The Oak Ridge Boys among many others, some not yet announced. It's June 7 - 10 in downtown Nashville. These tickets are on sale now. This one is unique because country stars mingle with their fans and sign autographs. Last year's event included LeAnn Rimes, Clint Black, Ronnie Milsap, Los Lonely Boys, Keith Anderson and several others.

The musical guests and ticket info for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival (June 14 - 17) in Manchester Tennessee, will be announced February 14. Early Bird tickets are already sold out but tickets will be sold after the line up is announced. Last year's performers included Elvis Costello, Radiohead, Beck, Lewis Black, Cypress Hill, Bonnie Raitt, Steve Earle and Sonic Youth among others. (Note: Manchester is in Coffee County between Chattanooga and Nashville).

The Beale Street Music Festival is May 4 - 6 in Memphis. Performers have not been announced for 2007 but last year's performers included BB King, Bryan Adams, Cake, Huey Lewis & The News, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Blues Traveler, Chicago, James Brown (may he rest in peace), Bruce Hornsby and Train among many, many others.

The 3 musical events are Tennessee biggies and each have their own website so if you are new to Tennessee and want to go to one of these musical events, visit their respective websites for details.

Thanks for the info!

While there's not enough money in the world to make me go to that drug-fest in Manchester (aka Bonnaroo), Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis is definitely worth the drive. Not only do they always have great performers (Huey Lewis! Bryan Adams! Chicago!) but it's just so much fun to wander around downtown Memphis, believe it or not. And the FOOD...!!!

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh, I didn't mean the other festivals.
I meant the CMA...
All I saw was the first part of that message and realized that we would miss the CMA festival cause we'll be down there in April, and not June...

silly me, didn't read the rest of the message...
guess I had my head in the clouds thinking about what we were going to miss.

JMT have you gotten any good pictures of the Beale Festival from previous years?
