Post Cookeville News, Gas supplies stretched but still available.

COOKEVILLE -- Rising gas prices and fears the supply of gasoline in the area may run out fueled a run on gas stations last week, stretching available supplies. But, one area gas distributor said there is gas available and, if drivers will not panic and use just what they need, retailers will be able to supply the area until supply levels return to normal.

Traveler256 is on a distinguished road
Last week was just silly. People were causing traffic jams to get into gas stations. Some places ran out of gas because people were literally raiding the stations en-mass.

Things seem to be back to "normal" this week and by normal I mean $3.50-70/gal for 87 octane gas and no lines.
