I'm no expert by a long shot, but the lap top 4 string is quite easy to play and you can pick one up and start playing actual tunes in a day. It really is that easy. Now the Hammered Dulcimer on the other hand... good luck.

Never checked out the Kingsport area club, maybe I will this winter...
